Jorge Junior Ibarra

Junior Ibarra is a real estate professional and entrepreneur who now serves as CEO and Team Leader for Ibarra Realty Group. IRG has grown to 28 multicultural and multilingual team members and in 2021 helped 315 families achieve their goals. The IRG team has received both state and national recognition for their performance.

Junior was born in Mexico and moved to California at a young age. His father gave up his career as an engineer to give his family a better life in the United States. They moved to Perry, Iowa to work at what is now Tyson Foods and later settled in Des Moines where Junior graduated from North High School with honors followed by higher education at Iowa State University. While at ISU he earned degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business and was active in many organizations — Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the ISU Soccer Club, to name a few.

In 2010 he joined Compressor Controls Corporation and worked various engineering positions and began exploring real estate investments. In 2013 his passion for real estate, entrepreneurship, and the opportunity to impact the disparities in wealth and homeownership among Latinos and Non-Latinos drove him to earn his real estate license and launch IRG. Today he leads the team in a collective passion for helping provide a quality of life that comes with home ownership and inspires Iowa to provide more housing options affordable to all.
