COMMUNITY INVESTMENT

PCHTF Community Investment funding provides investment and support into programmatic needs for organizations managing housing-focused programs in Polk County.

PCHTF Community Investment (CI) utilizes charitable funds from our Navigating Housing Together (NHT) Initiative to support housing programs and services assisting people on their housing journey. CI Committee (CIC) comprises volunteer community leaders, the PCHTF Director of Advancement and Community Investment, PCHTF Executive Director.

 

CIC commits to investing 100% of charitable funding into the community through housing-focused programs and services in Polk County.

Community Investment's Reinvestment Program Fund Project will be available starting Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Please see the details below.

Homeownership Counseling and Education
Housing-Focused Case Management
Resident Services
Permanent Supportive Housing Programs
Affordable Housing Programs
Community Investment Grant Application
Eligibility
  • The organization must be a registered 501(c)3.
  • The program must exclusively support the Polk County, IA area.
  • The program must support people in becoming stably housed.
  • 100% of the people in the program served must live at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI).
  • The program must fit one of the five funding priorities.
  • If the program provides permanent supportive housing for people identifying as homeless, it must be exclusively receiving referrals from centralized intake.
