2024: As we prepare to celebrate 30 years of service to the community, the Polk County Housing Trust Fund continued allocating a landmark American Rescue Plan Act fund entrusted to us by Polk County, and built upon our progress with numerous programs focused on creating housing opportunity for all across Greater Des Moines.

2023: The Polk County Housing Trust Fund achieved more than ever to unlock housing options across Polk County by allocating a record $8.6 million across 7 funding programs in our 2023 fiscal year.

We also welcomed new staff leadership after an extensive search that renewed our gratitude for the network of volunteers, supporters and community members who empower PCHTF to fulfill our mission.

A photo of the cover of the PCHTF has several icons describing the economy, neighborhoods, education, health, an individual, and a family inside a house during the storm. The title text reads "Essential to Everything, the annual report of the Polk County Housing Trust Fund issued in October 2022"

2022: This is still an unsettled time for our community's progress on housing. The pandemic emergency is receding, but economic hardship remains. We're focused on the hopeful moments and working hard to achieve progress on that which essential to everything: housing.
